MP3 Downloads

For the first seven months of Sproutnet's history, the media page had a huge array of MP3 downloads - b-sides, unreleased demos, live recordings. But in March 2007, Sony sent me an email requesting I remove all the links from the media page.

All the links are now dead, but I have reproduced them here so people can see what WAS on the site, once upon a time.

Real Life (Extended Version) - Matt says that this originally came on a free 7" that was given away by the NME, but this version is from John Birch's fanzine CD's, as sent to me by David Stokoe.

Carnival 2000 (M.H. Brauer Remix) - Not exactly an improvement, but another piece of the Sprout puzzle! This was sent in by Kevin Brennan.

Cowboy Dreams (Live in Liverpool 2000) - A fine, energetic performance from Liverpool in 2000. I wonder what happened to the rest of that concert! This was sent in by Jessmols.

Unfinished Jesse James Sympathy - by 'Massive Sprout.' This was mixed by 'The Party,' who are David Gladwin and Paul Linford. Martin McAloon, no less, heard and enjoyed this, though apparently he said Paddy sounded 'a bit camp!'
